Created product and engineering documentation in Confluence for the formerly undocumented customer service system, including screenshots, flow diagrams, database interaction, and infrastructure dependencies. Optimized Golang code by abstracting common functionality and vendor API code into separately maintained packages, eliminating an entire category of bugs. Streamlined tests by removing fragile and duplicate code across several repositories in favor of a standardized, concurrent model, dramatically improving CI/CD processing time. Led the development effort to standardize audit trail generation across several Golang repositories, augmenting the granularity of tracked changes and integrating GeoIP data. Proposed and assisted with the implementation of standardized documentation as part of the development workflow, significantly improving the ongoing validity of the product and engineering documentation.
